**The Company**
Based on Auckland’s desirable North Shore, this company has 10 years building proprietary software and hardware solutions for logistics, freight and warehousing clients. **Any experience in this sector is highly desirable.**

With a loyal and dynamic team of people, this highly nimble company has been growing consistently and due to internal promotion, the Applications Support Consultant role has been vacated. Specifically, you will support clients in the use of their software and be integral in resolving / acting as the interface between the customer and the development team to resolve issues, make changes and create enhancements.

**The Role**
Based on the North Shore, you will work between 0830 - 5 pm supporting a national client base across warehousing, logistics and supply chain sectors. You may well be required to travel from time to time to client sites nationally. This is a hybrid role with WFH and Office based work as a core requirement. We see the WFH component occurring once your familiarity with the system and the clients increases and importantly, you can demonstrate the ability to resolve issues independently - it shouldn't take long.

This role will own the day to day support requirements for our clients' clients. You will be integral in triaging level 1 software issues and driving resolutions accordingly. In this role, you need strengths in both software support and software testing. Testing pre-release is crucial to ensure the functionality, enhancements and bug fixes perform as per client requirements.

This role demands confidence, superior written communication skills, particularly, capturing process flows and you are able to utilise screenshots and flow diagrams to demonstrate warehousing processes. This is typically used for conveying issues to Developers for deeper level investigations AND/OR when you are updating training material for customers.

Verbally, you must be able to articulate your understanding of the issue to internal resources and importantly, convey a thorough understanding of the issues back to the clients to ensure they understand you know what they are experiencing - they need to know you have their issue in hand.

We really need a person who pays particular attention to detail.

**You will be integral in**:

Testing of processes, development and configurations
- Documenting the results of tests
- Assisting the Implementation team and developers as required to improve success factors when undertaking software implementations and providing support to said clients.

- SQL skills are mandatory
- Microsoft SQL Reporting Services would be beneficial
- Extraction of Data using ETL principles
