NexWave International is a provider of cloud based or on premise ERP aimed at the SME market.

As a Customer Engagement Consultant, reporting into the Customer Engagement Team Lead, you are responsible for providing both reactive and proactive support and services to a NexWave customer through their life cycle with us.

**Internally the Role Works With**:

- The Customer Engagement team
- Sales and Marketing teams
- Product team

**Externally the Role Works With**:

- Customers
- Prospects and Leads (at events or in partnership with Sales)

**Job Requirements**

The Customer Engagement Consultant has superior NexWave functional software knowledge with the ability to solve problems and suggest solutions across a range of customer business processes and requirements. The consultant is seen as a trusted advisor with customers, beginning with the implementation of the NexWaveERP solution in their business, covering their ongoing day to day support needs and nurturing engagement, expansion and education as our product and their business grows

This role requires a deep understanding of the business problems our software is solving for customers and future customers. You must be able to learn and keep learning the nature of NexWaveERP across all industries. A customer centric view is central to your interactions, and you will know when to escalate, say no, acknowledge mistakes and ask for patience on questions you may not be able to answer immediately. Doing these things well enhances the customer’s satisfaction levels and ensures you are skilled at “putting things right”.

As new customers join us, you will work with the Specialists in the team to deliver onboarding services and help their business users get established with NexWaveERP. You will support user training and during the early life support period actively support the customer to reach “time to value” - that is when our solution becomes an integral and invaluable part of their business operation.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- You’ll have an basic understanding of ERP concepts
- Experience communicating with people from all walks of life will also be vital to success as will a strong command of the English language (both written and verbal)
- Previous ERP Consulting or Support experience would be an advantage
- Experience in troubleshooting software
- The ability to take ownership and use your own initiative

- Very strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations
- Attention to detail and follow up will be second nature
- A+ Communication - listening, understanding and empathising is second nature.
- Well organised, and able to effectively prioritise workloads and focus on what is really important
- Personality plus As the first point of contact you’ll need to smile down the phone
- Technologically savvy
- An understanding of accounting principles & systems (exposure to MYOB/Xero or others desirable)
- A positive outlook, sense of humour and high levels of personal energy
