**About the role**
Reporting to the Head of People and Capability, you’ll support a team of around 100 people in understanding how health and safety can be upheld and improved. With a global safety team to support you, you’ll roll out established initiatives, review and provide metrics and feedback, conduct audits and investigation, sharing knowledge learned with your colleagues.
**Skills and experience**
You’ll need a strong knowledge of NZ Health and Safety legislation and the ability to translate this into practical advice and documentation. Relationships are key and you must be able to mentor and coach with success, influencing positive change and engagement.
Proven ability to prioritise your time and provide accurate reporting and data management is vital to success in this role. Relevant qualification in workplace health and safety management is expected and knowledge of electrical risk and technical labs would be an advantage.
This company is a part of a larger global family yet retain their small business feel. They enjoy subsidised meals, excellent parental leave and a bonus scheme. The preference is for an Advisor who can be visible and available, working 4 hours a day across 5 days, although some flexibility may be considered for the right person.
