Well established People and Wellness team have a rare vacancy for an up-and-coming Health and Safety Advisor.

This opportunity is based in Stratford which is a beautiful location. **About the role**

**Duties**
- Support the development and implementation of health and safety strategy and policy development.
- Prepare agendas and reports for the Health and Safety committee, including presenting information to educate the Health and Safety Committee.
- Empower Health and Safety Representatives through support and advice.
- Provide support and guidance at the monthly health and safety committee meeting.
- Oversee the contractor engagement process from induction to post-contract reviews.
- Act as the lead health and safety function during informal training and emergency response exercises.
- Support Officers and Managers to write and update their Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist the Manager in developing the annual work programmes and deliver on these ongoing assessing the effectiveness of the work programmes
- Work with your wider team for collective success.

**Skills and experience**
- Two years’ experience in a health and safety role / people management role
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Solid up to date IT skills
- Able to deal with multiple projects and changes as they occur
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Strong personal drive to make a difference
- Stakeholder and service oriented

**What do I need?**
- Relevant Health and Safety Qualification - Level 4 minimum
- Ability for continuous learning
- A minimum of two years’ experience or be able to demonstrate capability.
- Be a team player bringing energy to the organisation
