**At Pro Kiwi we provide orchard management and harvest services to our kiwifruit clients. We currently manage more than 100 canopy hectares of both green and gold kiwifruit throughout Te Puke and Paengaroa, in the Bay of Plenty.**
**Due to recent expansion, we require an experienced Accommodation/Pastoral Care/Administration Coordinator.**
**Pro Kiwi is a Recognised Seasonal Employer, and under this scheme we recruit RSE workers. This highly rewarding role will cover coordination and administrative tasks to support our workers with theirpastoral care.**
**About The Role**:
**- Full time -working a minimum of 30 hours and up to 50 hours. Hours allocated will be between Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 6:00pm, with some potential after hours call outs (which will be paid at overtime rates).**
- **Based in the Bay of Plenty, travel within the region may be required.**:
- **You will be paid $29.66 per hour depending on your experience.**:
- **You will report to the Administrative Assistant, who then reports to the Finance Manager.**
**Tasks include**:
- ** Arrival and departure assistance for RSE groups.**
- ** Assist in delivery of RSE inductions and trainings. Building relationships with RSE staff and acting as a mentor.**
- ** Helping new workers adjust to living in New Zealand - may include contacting relevant church leaders, familiarising with supermarkets, etc.**
- ** Assisting RSE members with all banking, insurance, and tax requirements, and enquiries including liaising with banks to open new bank accounts and arranging withdrawal funds prior to departure.**
- ** Arranging medical treatment and accompanying workers to appointments when required.**
- ** Assisting with general administrative tasks around recruitment and set up of the RSE arrival.**
- ** Proactive engagement with RSE groups and team leaders (Including visits as required) as well as being an on-call contact person for the team.**
- ** Assisting in educating RSE workers in appropriate workplace skills (i.e., English Lessons).**
- ** Accommodation management, inspection of RSE accommodations regularly - ensuring no damage to property whilst the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.**
- ** Coordinating cleaning and keys for accommodation.**
- ** Report any damages to property or concerns you have about RSE wellbeing.**
- ** Coordinating health and safety equipment and training. Assist with ensuring that health and safety regulations have been met.**
- ** Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality to cultural and religious diversity within the workforce. Supporting the social and cultural traditions of our workers.**
**What will you need to be successful'**
**To be successful you will need to be comfortable and enjoy working with different ethnic groups, be organised and have excellent administration skills. You will also need**:
- ** At least 1-year verifiable relevant experience working in administration/coordination/as a personal assistant (carrying out administrative/coordination tasks).**
- ** Experience with accommodation/property related documents ideal.**
- ** Marketing experience is preferred.**
- ** Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).Able to communicate effectively with people where English is their second language.**
- ** Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to deal with a diverse workforce.**
- ** Able to multitask and manage your time effectively.**
- ** Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.**
- ** Flexibility to work extended hours (and weekends) when required.**
- ** The ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.**
- ** A current full drivers license is essential.**
- ** Must be eligible to work in NZ.**
- ** Open to regular drug testing.
