**The Department**:

Technology Services and Solutions sits within Organisational Capability and Services, a branch dedicated to supporting the rest of the Department to succeed by providing corporate services that help business groups and people within DIA to make the best contribution to New Zealand.
Service Delivery Manager
This is a customer facing role, where you will be building relationships and providing guidance to customers with regards to their technology and service issues. Working in partnership with the extended DIA technical team and trusted vendors, you will ensure your customers are receiving service of a high quality - meeting SLA's and ensuring their expectations are being managed with regards to technical concerns that have been raised.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ownership and oversight of resolution of service management incidents
- Act as escalation point between the business and technical delivery
- Recommend improvements to operational activities
- Management of customer expectations and connecting them to the right functions in ICT to meet their business needs
- Each SDM has a distinct portfolio that supports two branches within DIA

**Your background**:

- Preferably 3+ experience as a professional SDM or CSM
- Base technical knowledge would be an advantage (software or infrastructure)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- You will be a Relationship Manager extraordinaire
- Knowledge of IT Managed Services and ITIL
- Bring a sense of humour with you - we enjoy a good laugh
