**About the Role**

We’re on the lookout for an engaging, proactive & experienced **HSE Advisor** to join our Gas Support Business Unit in **Hamilton**. This role is responsible for leading and supporting Health, Safety, and Environmental practices within the Business Unit and wider Perimeter including North Island regional areas.
- Key accountabilities include:_
- ** Leadership & Culture**: Driving strong HSE culture, driving worker participation in HSE, and promoting high standards of safety behaviours.
- **Risk & Compliance**: Identifying and managing operational risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory, client, and Omexom management system requirements.
- ** Collaboration & Communication**:Working closely with BU managers, supervisors, HSE representatives, advisors, project managers, and field staff to maintain effective HSE practices.
- **Incident & Audit Management**: Coordinating investigations, lessons learned, safety alerts, and BU audit programmes; following up on corrective actions and ensuring compliance records are maintained.
- **Training & Support**:Supporting Managers with training requirements, emergency response, ACC AEP, contractor management, and plant/equipment compliance.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Contributing to HSE innovation, organising safety days, and monitoring performance to ensure ongoing improvement across the BU and Perimeter.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- National Certificate (or equivalent) in Health, Safety and Environmental preferred.
- HSE Incident Investigation qualification preferred.
- Knowledge of or qualification for internal auditing preferred.
