Total Kitchens is proudly a NZ family run business based in the heart of Te Rapa. This is a rare opportunity to join their close-knit team in a part time permanent capacity. We’re looking for someone who is passionate for all things safety & compliance, who can connect with all people in the business and who can own and develop accurate processes.
It takes a driven person willing to problem solve regarding everything health and safety, working both on the floor, at home or at a desk in the office.
Are you up for the challenge?

**Day to day**:
5 - 10 hours per week (flexible working hours between Mon - Fri)
Review and update existing material and SOPs
Facilitate and attend regular H&S toolbox meetings
Have a proactive approach to improving health and safety policies and procedures
Be responsible for inputting all H&S documentation onto our H&S app

**What you’ll bring**:
Previous H+S experience so you can hit the ground running
Excellent administration and organisational skills
A great attitude
Confidence to be a strong communicator to both engage the team and voice your opinion to challenge the business to do and be better
A self-starter with the initiative to identify and fix any problems or implement ideas you have
Ability to translate practical information to documented process and vice versa
Understanding of safety practices & risks associated to the warehousing / logistics industry and physically demanding jobs
