To provide leadership and direction to the HPS Supply Chain team and to contribute to the overall operational and financial success of Hynds.- Hynds requires all team members to take individual responsibility for good health and safety practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Effectively recruit, manage and lead the team. Set the standard for professional behaviour and lead by example.
- Create and implement the Hynds Sales Price Strategy including margin optimisation, monitor and control the implementation of the Strategy, identify and analyse trends in market movements.
- Leverage CLM technology to meet current and future business needs, create and maintain processes which support CLM.
- Design procedures to evaluate and select suppliers. Evaluate vendor delivery, negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and vendors, monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to vendors.
- Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste and optimise customer service.
- Monitor forecasts to determine effects on supply chain activities.

**Key Attributes**
- 5 years + experience in a Supply Chain Management role, in a medium to large enterprise in the water infrastructure industry
- Tertiary qualified and with the skills for training and educating our business and wider Group on all aspects of Supply Chain. Has passion/focus on results. Can demonstrate ability to change the result themselves and through their people. Takes accountability for result.
- Clear understanding of financial numbers and the drivers and factors that can influence business performance (foreign exchange rates, margin, etc.)
- Flexibility to travel as required with national and international travel may be required that could involve overnight stays.
- Experienced with staff management, and in building a high performing team and leading them to achieve the desired outcomes.
