**Job Description**:
We are a vibrant, dedicated team of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) professionals who provide advice and expertise to our high-profile clients throughout NZ, Australia and Asia. Our renowned team of experts also support our global power teams.

As a Senior Transmission Lines Engineer, you will be involved in leading the modelling, design of structures and foundations for Transmission Lines projects.

Each day you will be challenged with a different problem to solve and there will be endless opportunities for you to advance your career in the T&D sector.

Whilst the role is based in our modern CBD office, there will be some travel required and assignments offshore.

Day to day tasks include:

- Concept and Detailed Design of Transmission Lines using PLS-CADD software
- Modelling of structures using PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE
- Foundation designs - varying from normal concrete foundations to pile foundations
- Site visits and inspections as required
- Drafting design reports
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals
- Interfacing / developing relationships with clients to secure new opportunities
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team

**Qualifications**:
You will be able to demonstrate:

- University degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years transmission lines industry experience
- Proficient in PLS software packages
- In depth knowledge of transmission line design up to 330kV and higher voltage levels
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Site experience / experience in projects being constructed
