**Transmission Line Engineer - Wellington**

Our Power team work throughout Australasia on high-value projects from traditional high voltage power transmission to infrastructure and industrial projects with many energy sector clients.

We've honed our skills over many years providing solutions to our power generation, transmission and distribution clients across Australasia. We offer the opportunity to work on both small and large scale projects local and abroad as part of a strong established team.

**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a Transmission Line Engineer to continue to grow and shape the success of our Power team in New Zealand. This opportunity will allow you to realise your own potential and achieve a step-change in your career. In this role you will;
- Work closely with clients to understand their project brief and technical requirements
- Formulate design solutions for transmission projects from 66kV to 500kV
- Work proactively to implement innovative solutions

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZD $81,600 - $122,400, depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.

**About You**

You have a relevant New Zealand or overseas qualification and at least two years of experience working in structural, civil or mechanical engineering. You also have specific transmission line experience. This will include experience with design, drawing production and report writing.

Preferably, you will also have proven capability across a range of the following areas:

- Understanding of a range of engineering disciplines
- Understanding regulations, policies and procedures
- Project coordination, implementation and integration for complex systems
- Networking, marketing and business development
- PLS-CADD or TOWER
