The Opportunity

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Aviation team in the Auckland branch.

This varied role will see you supporting an interesting established book of business of direct and network-based programs/policies/accounts. There is also the opportunity to grow and develop the book and the company and individual profile in the industry. Your willingness to turn your hand to anything and initiative are key, as are working in a team.

Day to day you might work on:

- Responding to client enquiries
- Document management
- Preparing client renewal paperwork
- Premium negotiations
- Policy and new business submissions
- Managing compliance obligations

As we’re a serviced based industry there will be a focus on customer service, professionalism and credibility ensuring clients walk away having had an excellent experience.

About you

Ideally you will come from an insurance background or be working towards your level 5 qualification; however, we are open to hearing from people who come from Banking, Finance, or Sales. You must be able to demonstrate client management skills and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

- Experience working in risk insurance
- The ability to deliver high standards of quality client service
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Positive attitude and aim to succeed
- A team player
