Our Principal Business Partners operate within a high performing People Division who are constantly seeking innovation and technical excellence to effectively support the business. They foster an exceptional team spirit and a great sense of fun.

This is a future focused role with exciting things on the horizon, and requires a very special individual to make it a success

The appointment range for this role is $121,043 to $163,763 - negotiable depending on experience.

- Strong consulting and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships where you are considered a true business partner.
- Ability to create, implement, manage, and improve services so they are right for the organisation.

- Strategic agility and understanding of how to implement a vision.
- Exceptional planning, preparation, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- Ambition and drive.
- Ability and willingness to appropriately challenge leaders when required.
- Strategic thinking and people-focused execution and the ability to educate and influence leaders to follow suit.
- A working knowledge of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and the implications of these for the work of Manatū Aorere - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
- A minimum of 3 years Strategic HR Business Partnering experience, preferably with Commercial departments, and are commercially astute with a genuine interest in understanding the business and achieving business results.
- A degree level qualification in HR, psychology or business.
