We have an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Associate Civil Engineer **to join our fun loving, sociable transport infrastructure team. We support both local projects and large national projects in the road and rail sectors. We have an impressive pipeline of work and are delivering the most sought-after projects in New Zealand. As a result, we are growing ostensibly and regularly collaborate with our global peers for both learning and project work. The role will report to the Section Leader Roads & Highways and work alongside Senior Engineers and Technical Leaders. You will be client focused, responsive and able to work towards identifying client needs. The purpose of this role is to provide engineering capability and leadership to our project teams, including but not limited to urban road design, road safety design, and oversight of construction projects as required. You will provide technical expertise across civil, road, rail and urban infrastructure projects and includes involvement in the development of proposals and managing junior and intermediate staff, Global integrated delivery and remote teams. You'll have responsibility for managing Jacobs risk on proposals and projects by undertaking engineering design and design / project management roles.
