Due to ongoing project success in our New Zealand Transport region, we are now seeking an Associate Civil Engineer - Roads & Highways to help support the growth of the team. Reporting to the Section Leader - Roads & Highways, the role will work alongside Senior Associate and Principal Engineers taking a lead role with project delivery, design and project/task management activities, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will assist commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects. You will support leaders, in terms of team development and growth, building design capability and growing the portfolio. There will be a requirement to mentor and assist in the development of more junior Engineers, particularly training in the use of civil modelling / analysis software. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: Key requirements for the role: - Extensive civil design experience. - Strong knowledge of general civil design principles relating to roads and highways - In depth knowledge of local NZ road design standards and how to implement these standards on projects. - Knowledge of relevant road design software including**:Autodesk CAD / Civil 3D / BIM 360, 12D, Navisworks, Bentley/Microstation/Open Roads**: - Experienced delivering and contributing to large multidisciplinary engineering projects through differing procurements methods and design stages. **Jacobs.
