Senior Civil Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Auckland. **About the role**
- As a Senior team member, you will be overseeing the technical delivery of projects, responsible for the preparation of detailed design and documentation for subdivisions, roading, earthworks, drainage and storm water design across residential, commercial and industrial developments.
- Working closely with our established clients, managing our growing key clients in the region and nationally, ensuring we deliver cost effective and high-quality design.
- Master planning of civil infrastructure- Production of detailed CAD drawings during Resource Consent, Engineering Plan Approval, Building Consent as well as, tender and construction- Design of Waste water, stormwater and water supply infrastructure- Design of stormwater attenuation, stormwater treatment and disposal systems- Light and heavy-duty asphalt and concrete pavement design- Earthwork and earthworks optimization model development within Civil 3D- Preparation of Civil Infrastructure Design reports and Design Specifications- Co-ordination of project documentation with internal and external consultants, contractors and clients- Provide technical leadership to the team and ensure their ongoing development, providing mentoring, guidance and training with the National Civil Manager and Technical Director**We offer**

**About you**
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years+ professional experience as a Civil Engineer working in a similar environment- CPEng qualified or working towards registration- A strong role model for promoting high work standards to deliver client projects on time and within budget- Experience in leading and managing the delivery of civil engineering projects and operations- Experience designing and detailing civil engineering projects in AutoCAD and Civil 3D- Experience in hydraulic modelling (HEC:HMS/HEC:RAS/EPANET/RORB/Infoworks etc.)- Conversant with relevant NZ Building codes and statutory requirements. Design compliant with NZTA and NZBC and relative standards requirements- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and local councils as well as lead and contribute to project delivery- A natural organiser with a high attention to detail, you will be adept at managing your time to deliver client projects on time and within budget- A high level of commercial awareness and financial competency**About us**
