Christchurch City Council is looking for a Digital User Experience Specialist to lead user-centred design initiatives that elevate how our citizens engage with digital services.

- Facilitate engaging discovery workshops and co-design sessions
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design across all digital platforms
- Lead usability testing and accessibility audits
- Drive adoption of our design system and contribute to our evolving digital strategy
- Collaborate across teams and mentor others to embed UX excellence
- Advocate for biculturalism and inclusive service delivery
**About you | Ko Koe Tēnei**
- 8+ years’ experience in UX or digital design
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of NZ Government Web Standards, WCAG, ARIA, and inclusive design
- Proficiency in tools like Figma and working in agile environments
- Experience developing customer journeys, interactive prototypes, and running usability testing
- A degree in UX, Design, IT or equivalent experience
