**About the role**:
The Customer Experience Platform team exists to deliver engaging digital experiences for our customers. As our Senior Digital Experience Designer you will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, working across a diverse and exciting product portfolio. On a day to day you will:

- Manage the design and production of standards compliant digital experiences across digital platforms and ensure Council brand alignment.
- Develop and maintain our digital design system to deliver consistent, quality, human centered design/patterns, following User Experience (UX) and Interaction Design (IxD) disciplines.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, researchers, and our customers to ensure digital experiences delight.
- Mentor other designers in digital experience design best practice, guide and oversee team members and delivery partners.

**To be successful you will**:

- At least 5 years' experience delivering digital experiences across web and mobile products
- A working knowledge of design thinking, design systems, user interface design and the role of digital design within a multidisciplinary digital team.
- Proven stakeholder management skills with confident verbal and written communication. Able to present ideas, concepts and developed designs to a range of audience groups.
- Strong understanding of web technologies/media, web standards, accessibility standards and UX design
