**Job Description**:
Be part of the biggest jobs in town AECOM Tamaki Makaurau Transport Planning and Advisory team are working as a trusted advisor to New Zealand’s most important and influential clients including Waka Kotahi, Auckland Transport, Hamilton City Council and Dunedin City Council.

We are growing as a result of some exciting new market opportunities and are currently looking for experienced Senior-level Transport Planners to join our growing team

In joining AECOM, you will significantly contribute to the development of high-profile sustainable transport projects in across New Zealand and be part of a thriving and cohesive team.

**As a Senior-level Transport Planner with AECOM you will have the opportunity to**:

- Manage the delivery of exciting transport planning and engineering projects, overseeing junior team members, and responding to client expectations, and/or
- Work as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team on projects such as Strategic Growth Alliance, City Rail Link and Eastern Busway.

**Qualifications**:
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

You enjoy working in teams, being accountable for your work, and influencing project performance.

You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships within AECOM and across the industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations.

You are a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills.

**Ideally you will have**:

- 5-10 years of relevant industry experience
- A developed transportation planning, engineering and/or modelling skillset
- A proven record of contributing to projects within the transport sector in Australia
- Demonstrable experience working in successful teams of professionals at all levels
- Be technically proficient in your field of strategic network planning or transport engineering
