Transitioning Auckland's transport network on such a mammoth scale is no mean feat and we need a talented team to ensure we are up to this task.
**We have two Senior Planner roles available in our Consent Planning Team - one permanent and one a 12 month fixed term maternity leave contract. **These roles will play a pivotal part in the consenting of multi-modal services in the future Auckland public transport network.
We have a team of consent planners who are responsible for working alongside our project managers to secure the consents for our projects.
**Te Whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity**
- Some planners in our team also have the opportunity to work in Alliances such as Te Tupu Ngātahi, Supporting Growth Alliance and Eastern Busway Alliance.
- Work with ATs key partners, including Manawhenua, Waka Kotahi, KiwiRail, Auckland Council, other Council Controlled Organisations and Eke Panuku.
**Ko koe tēnei | About you**
- A Planning degree qualification or similar discipline with a minimum 5 year's planning experience in consenting and ideally in infrastructure or local government
- Good project management skills, community engagement experience and strong customer focus
- You see challenges as opportunities
- You have a flexible, pragmatic approach to solving problems
- You find satisfaction in being in a team which mentors and develops team members
- Desired full membership to NZ Planning Institute or working towards full membership.
