The New Zealand Transport Planning Team has an exciting opportunity to join a well-established thriving team with a strong pipeline of projects. In your role as **Senior Transportation Planner** you will be responsible for providing consultancy services in the NZ Transport Planning market. With the support of the Section Leader of Transport Planning and the Technical Directors for Transport Planning, Traffic Engineering and Transport Modelling, you will lead projects, build capability within technical areas across local offices and work with junior staff to produce high quality technical outcomes.
This roles is instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of exciting projects across Aotearoa.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
- Strong understanding of traffic and transport engineering/planning concepts and tasks.
- Good understanding of the interfaces between transport planning, traffic engineering and transport modelling to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems
- Experience in multimodal transport and land use integration
- The proven ability to provide data analysis and manipulation as well as a strong understanding of technical standards and guidelines
- Ideally 4+ years of experience
The salary for this role is expected to be approximately NZD $80K to $95K dependent on experience (based on a 40 hour working week).
