Are you interested in helping to drive and deliver communications to public transport users?

Here at Auckland Transport (AT) we are taking Auckland's transport system into the future, connecting our city to give Kiwis easy journeys.

We are seeking an Engagement Planner to develop and implement communication and engagement for the Service Network Development team, who look after the development of Auckland's public transport network. You'll be working in a small, supportive team committed to improving and promoting public transport in Auckland.

**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
- Creating and managing communications and public engagement strategies for new or changing public transport services across Auckland.
- Collaborating with internal and external colleagues on communication and engagement activities
- Writing and creating communications material
- Attending and participating in public information events and open days
- Presenting to key stakeholders including elected representatives

**Ko koe tēnei | About you**
- A tertiary qualification in Communications Studies, Public Relations or Journalism (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred.
- Excellent writing skills
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in communications, public affairs or engagement

Good understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of local govenational Association for Public Participation Certificate in Public Participation (desirable).
