Guitar Mastery Method is seeking a kick-ass Community Manager to motivate, inspire, and encourage our guitar students to “stick to it” and get better each day.

We’re looking for someone who’s ‘more-than-comfortable’ presenting on camera, interviewing ‘Celebrity Guitarists’, and has the natural ability to inspire people to keep playing.

You’ll be responsible for helping our VIP Club members get the most out of their membership by supporting them in their private community, holding contests, giveaways, and motivating them to ‘get better each day’.

Here’s what your role looks like:
**Guitar Mastery Method Community Manager**
- Host Live Guitar Hang Outs with our GMM Instructors and Celebrity guests.
- Welcome new students into the community each week.
- Community support - Answering questions, motivating members, and providing these guys and gals with your full support.
- Run regular contests/prize draws, merch giveaways, guitar gear giveaways, and special live online events.
- Encourage members to sign up for Live VIP Club lessons, Live Celebrity Hangouts, and other events hosted by Guitar Mastery Method.
- Manage the communities and drive engagement of all members.
- Show and remind our members how to get the most out of the GMM referral program so they are getting rewarded more often for ‘telling a friend’ about us.
- Show up as your ‘best self’ each and every day with the intention of improving the lives of everyone you come into contact with.
**Necessary Skills & Qualifications**
- You have 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- You are a guitar player and guitar enthusiast.
- You possess strong communication skills:

- Are great at presenting and can captivate an audience.
- Are an active listener who can carry out a project or task according to the brief.
- Ask effective questions and provide valuable feedback.
- Communicate with and respond to all people with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- You look great on camera and have a magnetic presence.
- You’re able to share ideas and strategies for how to improve personal, team performance, and community performance while having fun in the process.
- You have a basic understanding of online marketing principles, such as social media marketing, sales, and direct response copywriting.
- You’re comfortable in high-pressure situations where quick problem-solving skills and critical thinking need to be used.
- You love interacting with people and people love interacting with you.
- You have a consistently strong work ethic and are willing to go the extra mile to achieve results, especially during mission-critical times of the year.

Our VIP Club Membership (on special) is just $27 per month and generally starts with a 7-day or 14-day $1 trial, which we know is ridiculous for the value these guitar players get—BUT—in order for our members to get the most out of their membership they need to experience the WINS we have on-demand for themYour job is to ensure they are engaged, know how to win, they’re actively referring new members, and attend as many GMM events as possible.

You’re going to work with our CEO, Jonny Meechan, and closely with other members of our sales, marketing, social media teams as well. We’ve been building this for 7 years but we’re just getting started. You’re coming in early as we’re just beginning to really scale up the membership.
