This is your opportunity to lead an amazing team responsible for a diverse range of recruitment functions, including our firefighter, volunteer and corporate recruitment.
**Mo tenei turanga - About the role**:
The Manager Recruitment leads our high performing recruitment function, which encompasses both employee and volunteer recruitment processes and projects. Over the next six months, your key focus areas will be:
- Functional leadership of the recruitment function, including people leadership, team leadership, resolving escalations, budget control, organisational reporting, and media queries
- Collaboration with your Team Leaders to facilitate the creation or implementation of tailored recruitment strategies for their functional area of focus
This is a fixed term or secondment opportunity until 30 June 2025, and will be based in our NHQ office in Wellington. An immediate start date is preferable.

Bringing a passion for leadership, you will be an inspiring leader who is adept at managing teams, leading leaders, driving quality assurance, and fostering stakeholder engagement to create a positive organisational impact.
**To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have**:
- Proven experience leading end-to-end recruitment functions across a range of industries, not limited to corporate recruitment
- Strong ability to lead and mentor people leaders to achieve organisational goals
- A track record of leading and delivering quality project outcomes
**The salary range for this role is $136,874 - $152,082 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.**
