We are looking for a dynamic and talented recruitment manager to join a successful New Zealand business in the retail sector.

This is an end-to-end, high-volume recruitment role. You would be on the Leadership Team of the People and Capability function, and you will be responsible for managing a team of seven capable recruiters who will be able to support you with day-to-day activities. The team are competent but fairly junior, and will need an energetic and innovative leader to coordinate and lead them to further success.

Crucially, you will be a strong relationship builder with excellent stakeholder management skills. Although the majority of recruitment will be frontline store-based recruitment, some head office recruitment support will be required and your recruitment expertise will be greatly appreciated by the executive team and hiring managers.

The company is at the beginning stage of a positive recruitment project that allows for significant improvements to be made across the business and this role is seen as critical to the continued success of the organisation.

You must be systems and process oriented and able to get the most out of both to ensure high levels of compliance and processes are followed. A continuous improvement mentality will see you do well in this role.

We are looking for applicants who have proven track record of success ideally within internal or agency recruitment teams.

This role is strategic but does have a decent element of operational activity, so someone that is happy to roll up their sleeves will enjoy this position.

The role reports into an energetic GM of People and Capability who sits on the executive team, who is supportive but looking for this role to be autonomous and deliver effective results.
