The Recruitment & Rostering Manager, Overseas Operations will work closely with the Overseas Operations Manager to assist with overseas operations services following the 2026 General Election. The main task of the role is to ensure the right people are recruited and rostered to support the work of the overseas team. This includes all recruitment related activities from selection through to induction and rostering.
Starting in January this is a fixed term role until December 2026
The salary for this role is $88,880

- Working closely with the Electorate Manager and Logistics and Supplies Manager
- Identifying the recruitment and training needs for the Electorate
- Recruiting and rostering sufficient numbers of employees
- Coordinating the preparation and delivery of training materials
- Pooling recruitment and training resources with other Electorate RRM's where applicable

To be successful in this role you will have attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn new processes and systems. You can work in complex environments where there is a lot going on at one time, working with people from all walks of life. You thrive in the excitement of delivering a significant event. You can be flexible with your work week, including working evenings and weekends during busy periods. Experience in bulk recruitment for large events preferred but not required.

- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to quickly learn election-based IT systems
- Experience of assessing people's skill levels
- High level of planning and organisational skills
- Experience in scheduling rostering
- Experience in payroll systems
- Sound decision-making ability
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems
- High level of flexibility, ability to multitask
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience in operational management and administration
- Strong community networks
