Key Tasks and Responsibilities
The main focus of this role is to manage and develop key assigned accounts by identifying opportunities for growth and building relationships.
- Establish and maintain an effective customer management plan that includes a formalized review structure and business plan for each client
- Action any rate update quries for new lanes or expired rates from customer service or operations
- Identify Opportunities wiht Key accounts baed on customer research and development
- Develop and Maintain a Pipeline of New Business Opportunities from existing customer base
- Present and Prepare customer proposals to assigned key accounts or potential accounts
- Conduct regular customer visits
- Provide excetional quality service and solutions to key customers for all their logisitcs needs, provide rates, quotes, costings and propsals
- Enter all data (customer and call activity) into dynamics (CRM) to ensure measurment of new growth possibilities
- Recommend process improvements
Skils And Experience
- 3-5 Years experience wihtin the freight forwarding industry
- Extensive experience in a Key Account Mangement Role
- Experience in Cargowise One is essential
- Buiding Relationships (netowrking, establishing rapport, interacting wiht People, projecting enthusiasm)
- Communicating Information (persuading others, giving presntatinos, explaning things, challenging ideas)
- Processing Details (meeting deadloines, ensuring accuracy, producing high quality work, adhering to rules)
- Driving Success (taking actoin, seizing opportunities)
