The Role

Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking for an Account Manager to join the team Based in Christchurch, this new role will join our Fentec team, managing key accounts across the South Island.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for establishing and fostering long lasting relationships with our current and prospective customers. By developing a solid understanding of our customers' requirements, and how this relates to our product offering, you will focus on growing accounts, and ensuring customers' needs are met, strengthening the value of our brand.

About You

To excel in this role you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Management role, with knowledge of the construction industry preferable but not essential
  • The ability to understand clients needs and partner with them to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Comfortable with travel, averaging 2 weeks away per month with individual trips typically ranging from 2 - 5 days at a time
  • The ability to negotiate and influence to grow sales
  • The ability to identify and seize opportunities
