**The role and what we are looking for**

Reporting to the Sales Manager - New Zealand, this role is responsible for autonomously driving business growth and retention for a portfolio of customers across the Auckland and Waikato regions, including some regional areas.

Key aspects of the role include:

- Generating new business opportunities from a large, existing customer base;
- Retaining existing business by adding value to the customers through the provision of a proactive and personalised account management experience;
- Developing and expanding the existing customer portfolio through new customer acquisition, cross-selling and up-selling; and
- Forming meaningful relationships with both internal and external customers to ensure a value driven approach.
- Ability to travel regionally as required with overnight stays;
- Sales and field experience (essential);
- Risk protection or insurance sales experience (desirable);
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills;
- This is a field and home-based role, therefore the ability to territory manage and be on the road most days is essential; and
- A proven capability to work autonomously and deliver results.
