You will be responsible for the management of the Group’s risk policies and processes, including:
Communicating risk policies and processes across the Group, helping to develop and embed risk culture within the business.

Developing risk models and implementing and maintaining risk related processes and controls.

Providing expert cross-functional advice, mentoring and business support.

Managing the group-wide insurance programme and annual review process.

Periodic reporting to senior management, Executives and the Board.

This is a sole-charged role reporting into the CFO.

It has an element of regional travel across the operational sites in the North and South islands (1-2 times per month).

Relationship management is a key focus where you will be working closely and liaising with various stakeholders across the Group including the CFO, GM Finance, Senior Leadership team, site managers, governance committees and internal auditors.

**The requirements**

This role would suit someone who can work autonomously and enjoys combing their risk management expertise with commercial acumen.

Being able to challenge the status quo, lead change using your own initiative, and build strong working relationships are important aspects to this role.

Key Skills to be successful:
5 years working in a commercial/complex organisation in risk management.

Experience in developing and implementing an organisation wide risk framework and strategy.

Strong communicator and ability to build relationships with those on the ground and with senior management.

Ability to use initiative and adopt a commercial mindset.

Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
