**About the Role**
***Te Whānau o Waipareira** is seeking an experienced and committed manager to manage our three Whānau Care Residential Homes. These homes provide a safe, supportive and culturally grounded environment for whānau with complex health and social needs.

As **Residential Homes Manager**, you will ensure high-quality, person-centred care that upholds kaupapa Māori values, strengthens whānau wellbeing, and delivers positive outcomes.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Leading and mentoring kaimahi and Team Leaders across all homes
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, compliance, and quality standards
- Ensuring safe, trauma-informed, and mana-enhancing care for residents
- Managing budgets, resources, and reporting to senior leadership
- Building strong relationships with Oranga Tamariki, Te Whatu Ora, health providers, and community partners
- Driving continuous improvement, innovation, and whānau-centred service delivery

**What You’ll Bring**
- Registered practitioner (Social Worker, Nurse, or similar)
- 5+ years’ experience in management with operational, financial, and people leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic care models
- Proven ability to embed kaupapa Māori values and tikanga into everyday mahi
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A clean, Full NZ Driver’s Licence and ability to pass police vetting
