**JOB DESCRIPTION-**

Punjabi Kitchen is a vibrant and popular restaurant specializing in authentic Indian cuisine with a focus on Punjabi dishes. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth running of the restaurant while maintaining our high standards of service and quality. As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Punjabi Kitchen, managing both the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure high standards of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all hours of operation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures, policies, and standards to ensure consistent and high-quality service.
- Ensure the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms are clean, well-maintained, and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Manage restaurant reservations and seating arrangements, optimizing the flow of guests and minimizing wait times.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of food and beverages served to customers, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to new and existing staff members to ensure excellent service and adherence to restaurant policies.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to increase sales and enhance the guest experience.
- Manage the restaurant's budget, ensuring profitability by controlling costs and unnecessary expenses.
- Monitor sales, track revenue, and ensure that financial targets are met.
- Ensure staff are trained on food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and preparation.
- Maintain and enforce high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the restaurant.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
