**Mō te tūranga | About the role**
- The role is initially.5FTE. This role is expected to increase in FTE hours and is fixed term through to March 2028.
- This is a position to support and enable effective change management needed to support the organisation to fully embrace the Datascape Product and associated business processes, change processes and identified goals.
- This role sits with the Resource Use Directorate but works across several Directorates and will support people readiness activities for the preparation and implementation of Datascape.
- Responsible for developing and driving the change strategy, with support to deliver from change agents across the organisation and a wider group of stakeholders, aligning change activities with the project (and organisational) goals.
- Identify, manage and support key stakeholders.
- Work across user groups within WRC to understand and document levels of adoption, utilisation, and barriers to adoption and work collaboratively with stakeholders to mitigate these.
- Develop, manage and deliver communications, in collaboration with the Communications and Marketing Team and external stakeholders as required, refining messages and monitoring the effectiveness of the communications.
- Ensure the rollout of effective training to all user groups.
- Develop and deliver any other change management activities identified as required.

- Able to build strong relationships quickly and maintain trust.
- Sophisticated listening, influencing and persuasion skills.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to a range of personality types.
- Political awareness and skill in dealing with sensitive and complex issues.
- Ability to connect and engage with various audiences through clear and effective communication.
- Adaptable, and resilient.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
**Mō ngā pūkenga | Qualifications and experience**
- Relevant Bachelors Degree level qualification in business/ management/ ICT or similar.
- Recognised Change management qualification and relevant industry experience (min 3-5 years)
- Experienced with complex projects and able to work in ambiguous situations.
**Mō te tīma | About the team**
- The IRIS Next Gen Change Manager will join a motivated and committed team including a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Product Owner and Sponsor.
- The IRIS Next Gen Change Manager will also liaise with a number of external stakeholders including: peers in other local authorities, Regional Software Holdings Limited (a not-for-profit Council Controlled Organisation) and Datacom.
