Hamilton, New Zealand Gallagher Full time

**About Gallagher**

Our purpose at Gallagher is ‘Protect what matters most’ and we live it every day. Not only does our technology protect some of the world’s highest security environments and agriculture businesses, but our purpose also means we care deeply about our people and their families.

With operations in New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Africa, USA, Canada, the UK and Europe—and exports to more than 160 countries—we provide unrivalled, globally focused career pathways.

**The Opportunity**

A pivotal role within our global S/4 HANA transformation programme, the Organisational Change Manager will lead the development and execution of our change management strategy. You'll play a key part in guiding individuals and teams through the transition to new systems and processes, embedding change and ensuring long-term adoption across the business.

Working cross-functionally with stakeholders - including ELT, functional leads, change champions, and external partners - you’ll deliver tailored communications, change plans, training initiatives, and readiness assessments, all aligned to the principles of “out of the box” implementation.

**What You’ll be Doing**
- ** Change Strategy & Planning**: Develop and manage a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with program goals, including defining change impacts, creating change plans, and setting success measures.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Identify and engage key stakeholders through relationship-building, targeted communications, and feedback management to ensure alignment and readiness.
- **Business Readiness & Adoption**: Assess organizational readiness for change, lead the design of role-specific adoption plans, and build a network of change champions to support transition to new ways of working.
- **Learning & Capability Development**: Collaborate with internal teams and system integrators to identify training needs, deliver effective training, and support long-term capability building.
- **Collaboration with External Partners**: Serve as a liaison with external change and training partners to ensure alignment with Gallagher’s culture and program deliverables, while monitoring performance and mitigating risks.

**The Fit**

Success in this role requires more than just change expertise — it’s about being a trusted advisor, an empathetic communicator, and a strategic thinker who can bring people on the journey. You'll be working in a dynamic, fast-paced programme with multiple workstreams and diverse stakeholders, so your ability to navigate complexity and inspire confidence will be key.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in managing change across large-scale, enterprise-level ERP transformations. To succeed, you’ll need:

- Demonstrated experience leading change in global programmes (ideally involving SAP S/4 HANA)
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels
- Hands-on experience with change planning, communications, and business readiness
- Familiarity with structured change frameworks (e.g. ADKAR, Prosci, Kotter)
- A confident, adaptable, and collaborative style with strong facilitation and storytelling skills

**Why Gallagher?**

At Gallagher, we foster a supportive and family-friendly work environment where innovation and people come first. We offer:

- Free on-site parking
- Life & Disability Insurance
- Staff discounts through the Boost App
- A vibrant culture with team events, learning sessions + great coffee
- Global career pathways and a highly respected NZ brand
