With several business initiatives on the horizon your strength in leveraging business intelligence tools to support decision making and proficiency using Microsoft products would be a natural complement to your people leadership capabilities.
The Property Rights team sits within our Customer Delivery group and is responsible for the New Zealand survey and title system. This system means New Zealanders know exactly what property they own, where that property is and what interests affect their property.
Our business group is based across three sites in New Zealand and working flexibly is now second nature to us and will be to you.
Our teams have grown, leadership skills are in demand in our business and having skilled and able support for our people is our paramount consideration.
As a Team Manager, you will lead people to achieve their performance and development objectives, you will have the skills to instinctively navigate a team through the change landscape.
You will guide your team to understand and support Toitū Te Whenua's strategic direction and drive key operational outcomes.
Sharing the work of maintaining service delivery in a challenging and busy environment as a member of an engaged Team manager group; you will relish the opportunity to take a lead role and equally enthusiastic about supporting others to deliver.

**He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience**:
We are keen to hear all about what you can bring to our business, these areas are key:

- Team Management experience, preferably within an operational and/or regulatory/assurance context
- Broad people management capability, a proven track record of building effective working relationships; an open communication style
- Leadership experience through a period of change and comfortable supporting others
- Ability to build a sense of common purpose and commitment within the team and a true customer champion
- Proven experience enhancing team and business effectiveness and efficiency within a dynamic and changing environment; comfortable with changing technologies
- Some experience in aspects of establishing, implementing, and maintaining systems and frameworks that capture, document, and maintain business' knowledge
- Some knowledge or experience working within continuous improvement or agile methodologies is useful

**The expected appointing range for a this role is**: $99,000 - $117,000 dependant on skills and experience.
