Applications are sought for the position of Advisor SMS Roster. A challenging and rewarding opportunity, this position is based at Fire & Ermegncy NZ's National Headquarters, centrally located in the heart of Wellingtons CBD. **Mō tēnei tūranga - About the role**
This is a full-time role within our payroll team and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the transfer of key information from our Station Management System (SMS) to Payroll for accurate payment processing.
The Advisor, SMS Roster is responsible for providing advice and support to users of the SMS Roster System and works closely with ICT Applications Support Team to enable both the effective operation and ongoing development of improvements to SMS.
The role includes the making changes to historical shift and leave records, processing transfers, secondments and rank data held within the SMS Roster System and processing the fortnightly payment download and transfer to payroll.
**The salary range for this role is $81,524 to $90,583 depending on your skills and experience.**

- A mature, can-do attitude
- Strong communication and excellent customer service skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in the management and administration of a Time and Attendance/Roster systems
- Working knowledge and understanding of New Zealand Employment legislation
- Demonstrated understanding of payroll processes and working knowledge of payroll systems
- Ability to ensure confidential information is handled with absolute discretion with an understanding of organisational obligations in accordance with the Privacy Act
