**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The IWRR function manages the national employment relations environment for Te Whatu Ora, including the national employment relations strategy, bargaining of multiple collective agreements, interpretation of collective agreements and related policy.
The primary purpose of this role is to:
- lead and manage the Support and Coordination team responsible for Secretariat support and coordination for industrial and employee relations
- lead and provide professional leadership to the IR Support and Coordination team ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.

- Leadership level experience with responsibility for managing people, budgets, forecasting, and cost management, organisational risk, and compliance at a function level.
- Has prior experience in providing senior business support and working with national unions to successfully deliver outcomes.
- Has programme and project management experience.
- Proven ability to influence, constructively challenge and build effective relationships with all levels of the organisation and with stakeholders, helping others to embrace change and achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience working with national unions to successfully deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Government experience (desirable).
