**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The IWRR function manages the national employment relations environment for Te Whatu Ora, including the national employment relations strategy, bargaining of multiple collective agreements, interpretation of collective agreements and related policy.
The primary purpose of this role is to:
- lead and oversee regional Industrial Relations specialists, providing professional leadership of the team working in regions to ensure effective management of IR matters and fostering positive labour relations with employee unions and representatives.
- lead and provide professional leadership to a team of IR Specialists across the country.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Senior leadership level experience with responsibility for managing people, budgets, forecasting, and cost management, organisational risk, and compliance at either a function or business unit level.
- Experience in effective design and implementation of industrial strategies in large complex organisations.
- Experience working with national unions to successfully deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Industrial relations experience in the public and private sectors.
