**Operations Manager**

**The Opportunity**

SAS IT has an incredible opportunity for an Operations Manager in a client facing position.

This role will provide operational services and customer management leadership across leading SAS IT customers. Provide full ITIL management including Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management leadership. This is a serious step-up role where no two days are the same.

**Key Role Details**
- Business Function Leadership.
- Drive consistent standards and approaches across the team internal and customer.
- Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- ITIL framework, ITSM Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
- Chair Problem Management Committee and Change Advisory Boards.
- Participating in strategies to grow relevance and driving the implementation of initiatives to improve efficiencies.
- Driving the company's operating capabilities to surpass client satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
- Driving staff and leading performance reviews, to ensure engaged and skilled workforce.
- Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
- Initiating better business practices.
- Drive consistent standards and approaches across the department.
- Drive efficiencies and effectiveness to reduce cost to serve.
- Vendor Management requirements associated with the role and included 3rd Party vendor management.

**What we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualification in related field desirable.
- 5+ years in a management role.
- Strong operational governance.
- ITIL Service Management Certification
- Strong governance experience associated with ITIL Change Management and Problem Management.
- Strong IT fluency.
- Broad industry network.
- IT industry experience.
- Medium - large corporate environment
- Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook, a clear focus on high quality and achieving targets.
- Client focused.
