**Description**:
About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our talented team on a permanent basis providing transformational and innovative initiatives to drive sales within your territory.
Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of PAK’n SAVE specific sales initiatives, deliver individual KPI’s and set targets across the defined customers.
**Responsibilities will include**:
Remote management of two Northern PAK’n SAVEs - Provide strategic direction to the Northern based Territory Manager.
Commercialise new product opportunities by demonstrating high levels of customer engagement and influencing.
Negotiate pricing, volume incentives, off location opportunities, new product entries and shelf positioning with stores.
Complete a quarterly territory plan which will include a breakdown of in-store co-op spend, distribution and core range focuses and alignment to national Sales and Marketing activities.
Deliver the company’s Core Range agenda by executing Core Range strategies across key customers and categories.
Consistently builds core range strength through lifting market distribution, improving ranging classification and executing Store Standards.
Actively develop Perfect Store Standards, and uses these models to educate and train merchandising teams.
Ensure programs are in place to hold volume of non-core lines, and results are reviewed to maintain profitability
Develop new business opportunities through successful presentation of new lines and ranging gains.
Monitor portfolio performance in each customer and implements plans to improve profitability and performance.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Skills and Experience
Experience as a Territory or Area sales manager.
Management of joint business plans (JBP’s) - Commercially focused and understands the various profit levers.
Understands best practice customer management and field sales disciplines.
You can influence effectively across cross-functional teams and work collaboratively to deliver results and “win together”.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated record supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a complex operating environment.
Ability to adapt positively to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles.
Flexible with time, able and willing to attend to duties outside of traditional working hours including national sales meetings.
Self-starter & self-motivated business approach.
