**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
Reporting directly to the Director of Format, Network Development and Property, this role will be responsible for developing our integrated national points of presence network plan for Supermarkets, On-Line, Metro and SV/FC.

This is a key role in establishing our “go to market” plan for our real estate decisions, by informing our ideal property network in terms of right place, right space and right time (i.e where we locate, what size store etc and when based on population growth and competitor activity etc).

You will also be responsible for:

- Analysing and understanding key market trends and performance dynamics and influencing commercial decision support across multiple functions, including presenting to strategic governance forums
- Build and manage relationships across the business to enable collaboration within a Matrix working environment
- This role requires the ability to influence, engage and work positively across the business, providing high impact, visible leadership in support of an engaging Customer 1st, Team 1st culture that ultimately leads to the achievement of organisational goals and in building WWNZ reputation.

**About You | Mōu**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Ideally a Degree in the field of Geographic Sciences, Spatial Science, Town Planning, Economics, Property Economics
- Superb written and oral communication with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
- Experience using spatial data & other data and insights to build action plans and location strategy.
- Understanding of customer trends and the competitive landscape in the New Zealand market
