We’re looking for a Property and Site Acquisition Manager to join our team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Head of Property.

Joining us, you’ll be responsible for collaborating on the preparation of the FreshChoice Strategic network plan to guide and execute on the FreshChoice property growth strategy. You will then be responsible for and lead the tactical execution of the plan to expand the New Zealand network of FreshChoice stores.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
In this role, you will work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders including the WWNZ Property Team, and taking into account external market and demographic changes.

You will also be responsible:

- To deliver key business outcomes including delivery of the property network plan and meeting business objectives
- Largely focused on the execution of the FreshChoice Store Network growth plan and delivering a pipeline of sites and opportunities for our Franchise Partners.
- To present opportunities that align with core business framework, focused on lease transactions that deliver site opportunities that provide excellent convenience and team and customer amenity in accordance with FreshChoice’s and Woolworths NZ’s Customer 1st and Team 1st strategy.

**About You | Mōu
You'll have a successful business acumen, ideally with a strong commercial real estate background in site identification, due diligence, leasing and delivery. You will be super organised and have strong negotiation skills, making a significant impact to the business through identification, delivery and management of the FreshChoice Store growth plan.

You’ll have a strong real estate network or a desire to grow one across New Zealand and represent the organisation externally, with significant accountability for reputation and brand.

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring in:

- A strategic mindset, with a strong and proven tactical and execution capability
- Proven ability to work alongside internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong property leasing, lease documentation, negotiation, site identification, property due diligence and management experience with a proven track record of delivery.
- Good knowledge of the New Zealand commercial property and leasing market, including in the provinces. Travel will be required as part of the role.
- Presentation, financial and analytical skills, with the ability to confidently and articulately present to an Executive team.
