We are currently looking for a driven Development Manager to join our Format, Network Development & Property team here in Aotearoa reporting to our National Development Manager.

Joining our Property Development Team you’ll take accountability for facilitating growth for our business through delivery of the best property network for our customers within a geographic location. This is a rewarding role as you take development projects through from inception to completion.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
Key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating activities relating to identification of new sites and liaising with external bodies (e.g landowners, Councils) on proposals to ensure a timely delivery
- Delivery of new buildings and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and procedures
- Managing and monitoring budgets
- Dealing with leasing and contributing to the selection of outside suppliers Managing and building relationships with stakeholders to ensure ongoing regulatory and legislative compliance and customer and business needs are being achieved

**About You | Mōu**

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in significant real estate development projects, especially in planning consents and project delivery. You will have strong organisational and planning skills and feel comfortable in leading and motivating project teams with a collaborative approach.

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

- Strong experience in significant real estate development projects
- Experience and understanding of retail property is an advantage
- Represent the organisation externally, with significant accountability for reputation and brand
- Stakeholder engagement / management Risk Management
