What your role and typical day might look like
A Senior Account Manager is expected to develop solutions for our clients including facilitating concept development, leading client proposals writing and presenting to clients with confidence. Lead the execution of marketing campaigns to the highest level of delivery whist building strong relationships (with Clients and/or suppliers) to meet and exceed our Clients’ needs and expectations. A SAM leads or is a key team leader helping to upskill or mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities could include- High level of written and oral communication (proposal writing and presenting with confidence to clients)- Ability to multitask across different projects/clients- Financial acumen - understanding and managing project finances, team performance targets and business forecasting with senior management / finance teams- Excellent communication, attention to detail and time management skills- Confidence in building relationships and negotiating with partners- Ability to grow and develop strong client relationships- You will be creative and solutions orientated and pride yourself on best in class campaign delivery.- You will also have strong supplier and production contacts in the market.- Strong communication and project management skills- Owning the budgeting process- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.- Ownership and understanding of the importance of team finances including project finance management, forecasting updates and post campaign job reviews.
A bit about you- Proven track record of client relationship and project management skills, across multiple accounts- Experience in managing junior team members, upskilling and mentoring their development- Tertiary qualifications or relevant work experience within a marketing oriented business- Previous experience working on brand activations- Mature and professional approach to role and responsibilities- Self-motivated and driven- Results orientated team player- Proactive in your approach and use initiative to get positive outcomes
