The time is right to add a highly commercial Senior Manager to the Management Accounting practice, to work closely with their clientele of aspirational and fast-growing businesses and manage a high performing team.

**The role**
As a Senior Manager, you will provide proactive management and leadership to the management accounting team, ensuring high quality, commercial, technically correct, and timely advice is consistently provided to clients.

In addition, you will act as the clients’ “in-house CFO” and will be involved in a wide range of CFO/FD activities - primarily of a strategic or high-end technical nature.

More specifically you will be:

- Undertaking complex CFO level tasks for clients such as:

- providing business valuations, capital raising assistance (including the preparation of Information Memoranda)
- facilitating strategic business planning workshops with clients
- providing advice on business and balance sheet structures and business direction
- designing, developing, and analysing financial models
- identifying value-added opportunities for clients e.g. business improvement strategies
- taking on secondments as Financial Director
- Overseeing preparation and reviewing a wide range of financial requirements ensuring they are accurate and comply with all legal requirements, including; budgeting and forecasting, management accounting, accounting for early stage and SME companies, trend analysis
- Leading, mentoring and ensuring the smooth running of the management accounting team
- Managing existing client relationships and engaging in business development such as prospective client meetings, new client evaluation and developing proposals.

**Your Background**
- Member of Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), CPA or relevant overseas professional body.
- Proven history of high-level technical accounting/finance skills
- Strong commercial acumen to underpin your recommendations and gain client confidence
- Solid experience developing and managing staff.
