In this role, you will focus on delivering outstanding service to our members and guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. While golf knowledge is helpful, your hospitality skills will be the key to ensuring our guests feel valued and well cared for throughout their visit.
**What You’ll Do**:
As a Golf Operations Assistant, you will be an integral part of the guest experience, assisting members and visitors from their arrival to departure. You’ll leverage your hospitality expertise to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere, addressing guests’ needs promptly and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly welcome, ensuring a smooth check-in and a positive first impression.
- Provide tailored support throughout their visit, anticipating and responding to guest requests, such as managing golf carts, arranging equipment, and offering information about the club.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and readiness in all areas, ensuring carts are stocked with necessary amenities (towels, beverages, etc.) and equipment is in excellent condition.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, helping to resolve any issues or requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure a smooth departure experience, thanking guests and gathering feedback to continuously improve the overall service offering.
- Support the preparation and upkeep of the course and facilities, ensuring everything is set up and ready for a seamless golfing experience.
- Assist with the organisation of club events, tournaments, and special occasions, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Perform closing duties, ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for the next day’s operations.
**Skills and Experience**:
- A strong background in hospitality, hotel concierge, or a similar service-oriented role, where delivering outstanding guest experiences was a primary focus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all aspects of the guest experience are flawless.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to assist with various tasks, including maintaining equipment and preparing the course.
- A professional appearance and work ethic, with a commitment to upholding the club’s high service standards.
**What We Offer**:
- Competitive salary $55k to $65k
- Full time 40 hours a week
