Specialized Technical Representative

**About the role**
As a Specialized Technical Representative for Dulux, you will market our Dulux Specialized Construction products and drive sales revenue by influencing projects through specifications and provide technical support to our architectural designers, specifiers, builders, quantity surveyors and housing companies in the Waikato and lower north island region.
The role will be based out of our Hamilton branch and will require 1 weeks travel every 4 - 5 weeks.
**Responsibilities**
- Regular calling on designated contractors, specifiers, and non-current contractors in your region to convert to specialized construction products
- Ensure site work is being carried out to specifications
- Provide specifications and technical details for architects and respond all architectural enquires
- Supporting sales through the broader Dulux Trade sales network and developing and implementing strategies

**Skills & Experience**
To succeed in this role, you will come with a solid sales background and the ability to manage and develop professional relationships with a range of architects, architectural designers, and other key stakeholders.
**Other key skills and experience include**:
- Strong verbal and written communications and a high level of business acumen
- Thorough understanding of how to use data to drive business outcomes
- Experience using CRM systems for analysis, reporting and planning
- Ideally, an in-depth knowledge of exterior plastering or the construction industry.
