We are a group of resilient change-makers who are reimagining the way cities in New Zealand move. Until recently, mainstream mobility focused purely on private vehicle ownership. Most of these vehicles are used less than one hour per day, making them idle for 95% of their life. As the second largest item of household expenditure, we think this is a poor use of space and capital which could be utilised more effectively.

With the help of technology, Mevo enables access to an on demand mobility network which includes a range of vehicles which can be picked up and dropped off in parking and zones around our cities. Our members have access to brand new, safe and fully maintained vehicles to use when they need them. Our customers love moving with Mevo and we are growing at a rapid pace.

**About the Role**:
The Regional Manager is a new role that will lead the Mevo service delivery in the Wellington region.

After becoming familiar with our mobility network, you’ll be empowered with radical responsibility to do what is right to leada a team in providing exceptional customer experience. We are seeking your critical thinking to bring issues and solutions forward whilst providing your own space to master your craft in doing so. We are seeking someone who will enhance growth within their region to further our impact on cities for years to come.
**Requirements**:
You’ll be:

- Leading and managing a team who you are able to inspire with the company mission.
- Thinking critically about the service delivery of the product in your region and how to keep evolving this.
- Creating new procedures and policies to ensure a reliable and consistent experience for our customers and colleagues.
- Working with suppliers, to enhance the ecosystem for both parties.
- Analysing our business information using a lens for efficiency gains and overall customer satisfaction improvements.
- Directly involved with diminishing the reliance on private vehicles in your region.

You Are
- Resilient and able to self manage your work/life balance.
- Creative, and able to materialise this creativity into action.
- Methodical and detail focus but also aware of when to move fast.
- Naturally calm and level headed in fast paced environments.
- Independent but know when to escalate opportunities and issues.
- Excited about the future of vehicles, cities and technology.

You’ll Need
- A sense of humour with a positive outlook.
- Confidence leading a team with knowledge of NZ employment law.
- Exceptional skills in task visualisation and adaptability to change daily strategies on the go.
- Ideally, experience in project management and/or in P&L management.
- Respect for data-driven decision making.
- To be naturally curious and not afraid of trying new strategies - being comfortable with owning, sharing and learning from the failures.
- To have already worked in a startup or high growth environment.
