**Ko t m tou mahi -**Our**Role**
As a senior leader in the organisation, you will lead our Place-Based regional team in the Greater Wellington area. You will grow K inga Ora's customer and community relationships, overseeing K inga Ora's service delivery to those customers and communities, and co-ordinate K inga Ora's investment activities based on community and government priorities.
As the Regional Director - Greater Wellington area you will be expected to lead and build a high-performing and collaborative team, made up of direct reports and resources from other business groups who have a shared regional focus. Champion transformational change by aligning regional activity with strategic organisational outcomes, while maintaining a clear customer and community focus.
You will maintain external relationships, partner with local iwi and councils and understand the local housing and development market.
You will lead your team to identify trends and opportunities, working across the housing system and social services sectors to deliver better system outcomes at a local level.
You will also contribute to the wider leadership of K inga Ora, taking a collective view and working collaboratively and inclusively across all parts of our diverse organisation.
**Ng pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring**
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience leading large operational teams in a regulated environment with a focus on delivering excellent customer service outcomes.
- Experience of leading through change and putting in place strategies and mechanisms to continuously improve operational outcomes and efficiencies
- A proven ability to align people, systems, and strategy to deliver community-focused outcomes at scale.
- Understanding of public sector operating models and governance structures.
- Proven ability to lead in matrixed organisational environments, navigate ambiguity, and influence without direct control.
- Understanding of partnership obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi and experience in working with Iwi and M ori organisations.
- Excellent, proven relationship and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to create strong and effective working relationships across both internal and external key stakeholders.
