**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

This is an exciting leadership role for a highly experienced operator in stakeholder relations. Reporting to the Executive GM Stakeholder and Community Relations, the role is tasked with designing and leading the delivery of AT's stakeholder engagement strategy to manage and grow these important relationships and ensure they support the delivery of AT's long-term strategic priorities, as well as critical day to day engagement with stakeholders - from AT's most senior strategic stakeholders through to local elected members and partner organisations.

As well as leading the team that oversees the organisation's strategic stakeholder engagement, the role holder will build effective senior relationships outside of AT, represent AT at key meetings with senior stakeholders and provide expert advice and guidance to senior AT leaders, taking the lead on a joined up organisational approach.

You have a passion for public service and thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment working across public, private and community sector organisations. You are a strategic thinker who is able to shape and develop a team and help organisations deliver better outcomes through effective, high-trust relationships.
